Are you struggling to recruit for sustainability expertise? Why not grown your own?
APPLICATIONS are still open for businesses looking to increase their social and environmental impact by recruiting an apprentice or upskilling their existing staff to drive the sustainability agenda.
A demand for increased and improved sustainability skills has been identified in the county, with a need to upskill Cumbrians to support work including social value and social impact. The apprentice’s roles and responsibilities will involve working on initiatives such as managing employee volunteering, fundraising, waste management, supply chain ethics, human rights and carbon reduction.

Let's Talk About sessions are small group sessions concentrating on a specific topic with the opportunity to discuss them in depth. At this one Women in Nuclear will outline the issue and provide some positive examples of how other sectors have increased their gender diversity representation.
