We're looking forward to seeing everyone at our BECBC AGM in just over 3 weeks. We'll be hearing from Martin Chown, CEO of Sellafield Limited, and are expecting a good turnout. Make sure you book your ticket in plenty of time and remember you can make yourself available for in meeting introductions by returning to the same page.
We're very excited to be welcoming new members to the team! As you know the Shadow Board were recruiting and I'm delighted to let you know they've appointed 3 individuals: James Harrison (seen above) from Doosan Babcock, Philip Hindes from Sunbelt Rentals and Thomas Smart from Morgan Sindall. We'll be featuring them over the next few weeks along with our new board director, Steve Tubman from O'Connor Fencing.
First up is James who says "I am an apprentice procurement officer at Doosan Babcock working as part of the PPP, which is leading the UK’s infrastructure projects. I have previously been involved in structures such as student councils through sixth form where I was head boy. Currently I am a member of the Dream Placement alumni which I take great pride in as they helped me secure work experience with Doosan Babcock where I am now employed, I am also a member of the Cumbria Future Leaders network where I help to promote being ambitious, taking opportunities and, the benefits of apprenticeships."
