The official unveiling of the Nightingale Garden & Monument is fast approaching!
Workington Town Council and R.A.F Engineering are delighted to announce that the date has been set for the official unveiling will take place on Thursday 23rd March 2023 at 10am in Vulcan Park, Workington.
The monument has been manufactured and donated by R.A.F Engineering ltd to the community of Workington, to remember those who died during the Covid-19 pandemic. To remember those who are still suffering today and to thank everyone who made sacrifices to help those in need.
With a theme of supporting people facing barriers we will be launching a booklet on recruiting individuals with special educational needs to support employers. We'll also hear from Cath Dutton of the Cumbria Career Hub on problem solving around employing people with neurodiversity or SEN issues.
