Member News: Retrievals Commence at Sellafield.
A proud day for all involved with i3 Decommissioning Partners as our client Sellafield Ltd has announced the Commencement of Retrievals within the Magnox Swarf Storage Silo (MSSS) Facility. Mike Lacey, i3 Project Director said: “The start of retrievals from the Magnox Swarf Storage Silo is a major milestone for Sellafield and we are proud to support the Sellafield team on this nationally important mission. Our workforce has been outstanding, working in some challenging conditions and further supported by a World Class Supply Chain who have, without exception, responded to our requests and needs. I am immensely proud of this team and they should all feel proud of themselves too”.
