In our last Keeping in Touch newsletter of 2021 read on to find out about.....
...tomorrow's member meeting, including a potential appearance by Santa, upcoming membership renewals, reviewing your newsletter choices, member news from McMenon and member focus on LLWR.
Following the change in government guidance our member meeting is now virtual but with our patron Marcia in the chair we'll still be having some great discussions about whether Net Zero is possible, the importance of inclusion and diversity and the economic outlook for Cumbria as we approach 2022. We'll also find out who the winners of the BECBC Shadow Board Awards 2021 are and launch the BECBC Awards 2022!
To ensure the charity doesn't miss out Dianne has offered to attend the full meeting in a Santa Suit if we can raise that amount. Dianne says "For some people Christmas will unfortunately bring one of the hardest times of their lives as they face losing someone. The work that Hospice at Home do to support the individuals and their families makes a real difference so please help us support them through this fundraising."
