Trudy Harrison, MP, Visits Local Success Story – Delkia who Have Increased Turnover by £6.4m Since her Last Visit In 2020
Trudy Harrison, MP for Copeland, made a return visit to Delkia recently to learn how the company has grown from her last visit in 2020.
A huge success story for Cumbria, Delkia has grown significantly from 2020: from 15 employees to 56 employees and 37 consultant engineers; from one facility to three, and increased turnover by £6.4M to £7.3M.
Delkia has also grown the markets it serves and is now a significant specialist systems integrator operating in the Clean Energy, Aerospace and Maritime sectors, contributing to some of the largest safety and mission-critical national infrastructure projects in the UK.
Trudy Harrison said: ‘It was fantastic to revisit Delkia and see the impressive growth they have made. They are a real Cumbrian success story offering a vital service as specialist systems integrators to protect lives and assets. I am sure they will go from strength to strength.’
This growth is led by Kurt Canfield, CEO, who excels in inspiring and empowering others, growing staff to take on new challenges and driving long term success for Delkia.
Kurt Canfield said: ‘It’s great to welcome Trudy Harrison back to Delkia and show her just how much progress we have made in the last 4 years. We focus relentlessly on offering the best in design, engineering, and systems integration to our customers. This is why we invest in R&D and opened new facilities in Preston – to meet customers’ needs in Aerospace, Clean Energy and Maritime sectors not just today but in ten years’ time. We have long-term vision to be the UK’s leading engineering and technology partner for safety-related and mission-critical systems, driven by our purpose to protect lives and critical assets.
Delkia will be exhibiting at Farnborough Air Show for the first time in July and is looking forward to meetings clients old and new.
