Tenet Launch 2022 Apprenticeship Intake during NAW22
There is no better time for Tenet to launch their 2022 Apprentice recruitment campaign than during National Apprenticeship Week #NAW2022. Tenet have a long-standing history of supporting young engineers and have previously funded in house apprentices to degree level at Manchester Metropolitan University. Tenet are now working in partnership with Wigan & Leigh College to provide 5 year Nuclear Engineer degree apprenticeship to take our future engineers through the HNC/HND pathway and onto the degree level of BEng.
Within the premise of Build The Future, Janine Rudenko, Operations Manager comments that ‘As a high percentage of our clients are within the Nuclear Industry Tenet selected the Nuclear Technician/Engineer apprenticeship as this course enables standard engineering training with the inclusion of Nuclear technologies and understanding."
Tenet currently have 5 apprentices on this pathway and will look to recruit two more to join them in September.
Nathan Munro is one of the Tenet staff to come through our training scheme, having joined Tenet in 2011 and having completed his degree in 2017, Nathan is an important member of the engineering team and is involved in mentoring the current apprentices. With his knowledge and experience he is the ideal person to show what type of career opportunities await them in this industry.
Nathan says ‘’Alongside my academic studies, Tenet have continuously given me the in-work training needed to meet the standards expected of engineers working within the industry. I am very grateful to Tenet and I hope our current/future apprentices can benefit as I have done!’’
We look forward to welcoming our new recruits to the team at Birchwood Park in September.
