Professional Services Showcase will unite businesses from across the region
A DIVERSE range of businesses will exhibit their expertise at Britain’s Energy Coast Business Cluster’s (BECBC) Professional Services Showcase event on Wednesday, March 6.
Designed to promote collaboration among BECBC members from the Professional Services sector and beyond, this networking event provides a platform to share knowledge and services among members of the cluster.
Highlighting the spectrum of industry support, the event will feature 40 exhibitors from sectors such as media, human resources, legal services, and more. The showcase will provide a valuable opportunity for forging partnerships that will elevate businesses.
A valuable sector of the BEC Business Cluster, the Professional Services group actively works to ensure that opportunities are presented to members, promoting visibility, and enhancing business prospects for all involved.
Peter Fleming, Director of BECBC, said: “We are all about facilitating opportunities that make the most out of the wealth of expertise we have in the region. This is the 5thevent of its kind, and we have seen first-hand the positive outcomes as a result.
“There is such a great scope of skills within our Professional Services Group, and we know the value of events like this for our members, it’s a great place to network, show others what you can offer, and sell yourself. We’re excited to watch new collaborations unfold as a result.”
Kate Wilson, Photographer and founder of KW Creatives, attended the Professional Services Showcase last year, where she was approached by Energus, who bought her work. The event was a great exposure platform for her.
She said: "As a micro business, balancing time between networking and daily operations can be challenging. Attending the PSS event provided the perfect blend of exposure, collaboration, and business development.
“I was thrilled that exhibiting led directly to my first corporate sales of photographic art that was commissioned on the day. I'm so proud that my framed pictures now hang in Energus. As a sole trader, BECBC membership is a vital cog in my business wheel. It's not just about selling; it's about communication, support, friendship, and development."
The event will take place at Energus, which regularly hosts BECBC’s Networx events and the BECBC Awards; the partnership has been mutually beneficial for several years.
Faye Brown, Events and Communications Lead at Energus, said: "Bringing a wealth of the region's talent under one roof highlights the capabilities of businesses in the region. Our longstanding partnership with BECBC exemplifies successful collaboration, and events like these play a role in fostering excellent working relationships."
"We're proud to be a regular venue for BECBC events, it is always a pleasure to host members and see the benefit first-hand."
Businesses that are not members will have to register for a guest membership via the BECBC website to attend. All stands are occupied by members, and the event runs from 9am until 2pm.
