Morgan Sindall names new North West MD
Morgan Sindall Construction has promoted Simon Arnott to become new managing director for the North West.
He replaces Barry Roberts who is stepping down after nearly 18 years with the business.
Arnott joined the Morgan Sindall Group nine years ago and has been part of the leadership team at Morgan Sindall Construction for the past five years.
Prior to joining the business, he gained experience in management and leadership roles in construction, services, logistics and manufacturing sectors.
Arnott will remain with the business for a period of time to support a full handover.
The North West team has delivered a range of landmark schemes during Robert’s tenure, including Paddington Village within Liverpool’s Knowledge Quarter, the Science, Engineering & Environmental Building at Salford University and the redevelopment of Lancashire County Cricket Club.
Current North West projects include Wirral Growth Company’s two Grade A office buildings in Birkenhead town centre and Waterside Places’ 11-storey and 16-storey block of flats in Manchester’s Islington Wharf.
