Manchester Airports Group (MAG) has announced partners for its latest Airfield Infrastructure Framework.

The Framework will support MAG’s three airports – Manchester, London Stansted and East Midlands Airports - over the next five to eight years. It is designed to deliver the Group’s airfield development programmes as it continues to invest in its airport infrastructure.

Key projects covered in the Framework will include airfield improvement works, as well as runway resurfacing, aircraft stand development, and airfield ground lighting systems.

The Framework aims to create long-term partnerships that work to the benefit of MAG’s capital development priorities, which work to improve and enhance the airport experience for passengers.

The Framework currently includes a number of strategic suppliers, made up of leading design consultants and specialist contractors.

The following suppliers have been appointed to the framework:

· Ove Arup and Partners

· Jacobs

· Volker Fitzpatrick

· Lagan Aviation & Infrastructure

· Dyer & Butler

· Allied Infrastructure

· Amalgamated Construction Ltd

Terry Fitzmaurice, MAG Procurement and Contracts Director said:

“This new Framework will foster a more collaborative relationship between MAG and its designers and contractors, which will help MAG meet its capital investment projects across all three airports.

"Working more closely with our newly appointed partners will also help MAG meet its sustainability targets - including net zero operations by 2038 - through more sustainable supply chain practices.

“We are pleased to have appointed a number of partners already, and look forward to seeking opportunities to work with them on projects across the Group."
