Delkia expands with acquisition of new firm
Delkia has announced the acquisition of a new firm.
The provider of integrated systems for safety-related and mission-systems across the UK defence, aerospace, maritime and nuclear sectors has acquired SyntheSys Defence and its parent company SyntheSys Systems, a provider of Interoperability and Tactical Data Link solutions, with over 30 years of proven expertise and service excellence in the industry.
Delkia, based at Westlakes Science Park in West Cumbria, said the acquisition underscored its commitment to its mission systems and interoperability focus, which will allow SyntheSys to provide more capabilities in advancing secure, real-time data transmission solutions, situational awareness and strengthens Delkia’s deliver end-to-end communication systems to our collective valued clients.
Founded in 1989 SyntheSys Systems Engineers Ltd has earned a respected position in the industry through its specialised TDL solutions, testing and software development, trusted by a broad range of defence and security clients.
Delkia said it was poised to integrate these capabilities to enhance product offerings and expand reach in the critical domain of tactical communications, increasing support to NATO countries.
It added: “By combining both companies’ strengths, the aim is to set a new benchmark for reliability, security, and innovation in Tactical Data Links, secure communications and critical network solutions.”
