Delkia attends American Glovebox Society Conference in Boston as Delkia is now the UK distributor for Central Research Laboratories

Delkia will be attending the American Glovebox Society Conference in Boston, USA, 22-25 July 2024, to network and learn about the latest developments in these systems used in a variety of industries, including the nuclear sector. The company will join US based Central Research Laboratories (CRL) stand at the event, as Delkia are now their UK distributors for glove ports, transport systems and manipulators.

Beeby Bell, Business Winning Manager for Clean Energy, said: “This is a great opportunity for Delkia to meet up with the CRL team, keep abreast of latest developments in the industry, and meet other visiting UK companies to talk to them about their needs. We’re proud to be working with CRL.”

Chris Gooding, General Manager and Vice President at CRL added: ‘CRL is excited to work with Delkia as we assist our mutual customers in their critical work.’

Delkia has significant expertise in building gloveboxes, supplying 14 for the major PPP (Programme and Project Partnership) work for the Sellafield Product and Residue Store Retreatment Plant. In addition, the company has worked on the design and/or build of specialist glovebox cable assemblies, glovebox junction boxes, lighting panels, and gas service support panels that are used alongside glove boxes.

“I’m looking forward to meeting customers and exploring Boston” said Beeby Bell. “This is another great example of Delkia going from strength to strength as the company continues to grow.”
