Createc Appoints New CEO to Drive Next Phase of Innovation and Growth
It is with great enthusiasm that we announce some exciting changes to our Leadership Team at Createc. A significant milestone in our growth journey, these changes include the announcement that Matt Mellor, Createc’s Founder and CEO, will step into a new CTO role from November 2023. This role will enable Matt to continue his lifelong work of creating and shaping the disruptive technologies that Createc is renowned for. Will Newsom, formerly Energy MD, will take on the role of CEO, leading our company into its next phase of innovation and growth.
During Matt’s 13 years as CEO, he has propelled the company to grow at an average of 30% year-on-year in revenue. Today, we are a diverse team of 55 creative people generating over £7M in annual revenue across 3 continents because of his leadership. This change in role will allow Createc to continue to innovate with new technologies as we scale the business, providing our technical teams and products with the full focus of Matt’s unrivalled entrepreneurial mindset.
Will Newsom has become pivotal to Createc’s operation since joining in 2020, scaling new highly skilled teams rapidly, improving operational efficiency, and seamlessly guiding the business through the latter end of the Covid-19 pandemic. As CEO, he will focus on driving commercial as we scale to become a medium sized business, now with operating offices in the UK, Norway and Japan.
