Balfour signs deal with Koreans for UK power transmission jobs
Balfour Beatty has struck a deal with south Korean construction giant Hoban Group to work together on the design and delivery of large-scale onshore power transmission and distribution projects across the UK.

It will work with Taihan Cable and Solution Co, a specialist cabling subsidiary of Hoban Group.
The partnership will operate with a focus on delivering sustainable, low-carbon solutions, prioritizing Modern Methods of Construction and Building Information Modelling to drive efficiencies and productivity on future projects.

This latest partnership bolsters Balfour Beatty’s other Memorandum of Understanding deals with Aker Solutions and Holtec Britain, signed last year for the energy sector.
