CforLP partners BECBC for ‘Leading with Purpose’ masterclass

Business leaders, educators, and young people are being invited to learn about ‘Leading with Purpose’ in the next Masterclass organised by the Centre for Leadership Performance.

The event is being organised in partnership with Britain’s Energy Coast Business Cluster and the BECBC Shadow Board, and takes place from 09:00-12:30 on Wednesday, 18^th January 2023, at Lakes College.

CforLP Executive Director Sarah Glass said: “Partnering on the next masterclass with BECBC and its dynamic Shadow Board is a fantastic way to give back to the organisations and individuals who support our programmes. Many BECBC members have a long association with the CforLP and share our objectives to build and enhance leadership in Cumbria, so we welcome the opportunity to collaborate with the BECBC.”

At the Masterclass, a range of keynote speakers will explore the topic of ‘Leading with Purpose’, and the session will also include interactive Learning Labs and a Q&A panel.

The 2022-2023 Leadership Masterclasses are designed to share learning and best practice, bring diversity of thought to some of Cumbria’s leadership challenges, and to build, strengthen and inspire the learning community. The series is being delivered by the CforLP using reinvested revenue and aims to bring together leaders across all areas of the county’s learning community.

Sarah adds: “The CforLP has created an integrated ladder of lifelong leadership learning from Primary to Boardroom as part of its mission to develop Cumbria’s leaders of today and tomorrow. Encouraging young people to attend the Masterclasses is another aspect of our work with young people of all ages to ensure their voices are heard and valued.”
