Are you passionate about making a positive impact in your community? Do you believe in the power of collaboration and collective action? If so, we invite you to join us at the BECBC Social Value Group.
Our group welcomes individuals from diverse backgrounds, including representatives from the Sellafield supply chain, social enterprises, and third sector groups. Membership of BECBC is not required as we encourage all who share our commitment in making a positive impact on the community to attend our regular meetings.
What We Do:
At our monthly meetings, we focus on themes. Each session is dedicated to exploring topics that matter to our members and the community we belong to. Topics range from addiction and the role of work in recovery journeys, to skills shortages and what is being done to address them, to how employers can support young people with their personal and career development.
When and Where:
Our meetings take place from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm on a Tuesday, and we are hosted at Lakes College, providing a central and accessible location for all participants. The meeting provides a valuable space for discussion and networking.
Why Join Us:
The Social Value Group prides itself on its inclusive and welcoming atmosphere. Whether you have years of knowledge and experience of Social Value, or just beginning your journey, you'll find a supportive community to be part of.
Join us as we strive to create meaningful and lasting change in our community.
